Manny you took mine. Stinkfist absolutely rocks and Adam Jones is a musical genius. If I had to pick a second i guess it would be "seven words" by the Deftones.

    Excellent posts by all.

There are some songs where it is simply not safe to be on the same road as me when I'm listening to them.

    Here are a few more:
Metallica -- I Got Something to Say; Green Hell; Blitzkrieg; So F*cking What

Motley Crue -- Anarchy in the U.K.

    Ministry - Just One Fix

Also, someone mentioned Black Sabbath's "Supernaut" earlier. I haven't heard the original, but there's a cover version by 1,000 Homo DJs (one of many Al Jourgensen side projects) that is incredibly hard.

"Nativity in Black" is a great tribute cd to Sabbath

I highly recommend it to anyone that digs Black Sabbath...

White Zombie's version of "Children of the Grave" is kickass...

    1. After Forever - Biohazard
    2. Children Of The Grave - White Zombie
    3. Paranoid - Megadeth
    4. Supernaut - 1,000 Homo Dj's
    5. Iron Man - Ozzy Osbourne
    6. Lord Of This World - Corrosion Of Conformity
    7. Symptom Of The Universe - Sepultura
    8. The Wizard - Bullring Brummies
    9. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Bruce Dickinson
    10. N.I.B. - Ugly Kid Joe
    11. War Pigs (Live) - Faith No More
    12. Black Sabbath - Type O Negative

They've just recently put out a "Nativity in Black 2" cd, but I haven't had a chance to listen to any of those covers yet...

It doesn't look quite as old school as the first cd...but still a few interesting looking tracks...

    1. Sweet Leaf - Godsmack
    2. Hole In The Sky - Machine Head
    3. Behind The Wall Of Sleep - Static-X
    4. Never Say Die - Megadeth
    5. Snowblind - System Of A Down
    6. Electric Funeral - Pantera
    7. N.I.B. - Primus with Ozzy
    8. Hand Of Doom - Slayer

    10. Sabbra Cadabra - Hed(Pe)
    11. Into The Void - Monster Magnet

I need to download those 2 tracks and hear what the hell they sound like...

Pantera did a great cover of Sabbath's Planet Caravan on their CD Far Beyond Driven.

I also like the cover of Sabbra Cadabra on Metallica's Garage, Inc.

I've heard that Ugly Kid Joe cover of N.I.B., BGM.... I actually liked it better than the original! Often times, that seems to be the case for covers. Hell, most of the songs Metallica covered on their Garage Inc. double CD make me wonder how Metallica heard any potential at all...if that made any sense.
