Carl is on here whining every day about the Patrick Patterson trade but at least the guy is still a Rockets fan....at least I hope so!

Well, the Rockets have the most loyal fans around. Easily. Though, I wouldn't say our management cares about our players more than the extent that they are "assets." Not my words, but Morey's in almost every article related to player transactions.

But, if you have to choose a different team:

Indiana Pacers.

A true group of ride-or-die teammates, an underrated coach, but more importantly, a weak fan base. The team wants true fans, and they more than deserve it.

If I weren't a Rockets fan, I would love supporting Granger, D. West, George, Hill, my boy Lance and Roy on a nightly basis. They play hard every night, are underdogs because no one watches them (except people that follow the NBA)and their future is bright...maybe even brighter than ours.

We need some of the toughness they have.

 

LOL...explain your understanding of the "new basketball methodology." I'm interested to see what you come up with and your rationalization for firing Hollins.

I know many people like this, that test out the NBA waters before fully committing to a team. My friends in Europe often ask me for new teams or players to follow.

Out of the teams listed I would say the Pacers for sure but I would also take the Cavs into consideration, a very young team getting better with Irving as a superstar.

 

What is the type of fan we all hate

 

The Rockets have one of the worst fan bases in the NBA. I have been to a ton of games the last three to four years and it has been an empty stadium. The rockets even before the CSN debacle had terrible TV ratings.

 

True Houston fans are great. We need something to cheer about. Rockets fans have been there through thick and thin. Texans fans continued to buy expensive tickets even when we were atrocious.

Astros fans. Well, you got me there.

 

True fans stick with there teams through thick and thin....

 

Its easy to support a team when they are good. That is not a true fan. The rockets have never really been terrible yet their fans pretty much lost interest in them.

 

Depends on what type of fan you're speaking of....

If you mean those suits that pretty much used the Toyota Center and Yao Ming as their own personal business offices then yeah, they're terrible fans.

But if you speak of us here.... I mean we are still here.
