Yes,an inconsistent Juwan Howard. He could have achieved more, but he didn't like to work. The achilles tendon injury finished off his career.

I am imagining a pale tall lengthy shot blocker that can score 20-25 pts a game, make free throws, and misses most of the season. It keeps coming as Yao Ming. I don't know why. :)

hate to type this on clutchfans, but most of the players from the steve francis era were drug addicts. thats why they never won even with all that talent they had.

    eddie griffin = weed
francis = weed, illegal pills (extasy, and handlebars)
    mobley= (same drugs as francis)
moochie norris (same drugs as mobley, cocaine)
kelvin cato = (cocaine, weed, pills,)

how do i know all this stuff? none of your damned business.

He had an awesome hook shot. Other than that, untapped potential.

mo was all of that, except a shot blocker. and he could only score about 16-20... but close enough! he was pretty light skinned too.

A "bloated" player with a "bloated" contract. One in series of head scratching trades, drafts, and contracts. The Rockets are still digging out of the deep hole they created for themselves during that period.

The guy was the opposite of Chuck Hayes: no defense and only offense with very little intensity.

Juwan Howard was a consummate professional. Taylor's not. ;)

BTW, maybe your friend was thinking about Elvin Hayes. He's 63 years old right?

So Maurice Taylor was like a post version of Kevin Martin but could only score in 1 quarter instead of 3? Damn.

Mo was an oft injured soft finesse PF that received a large ass contract that hampered us for many years, one of Rudy T's/CD mistakes.

Think of a softer oft injured Scola, in fact that was what he was, a lesser Scola.

I was thinking the same thing. Mo Taylor is the Argentinan version of Scola with less hustle, less rebounding, less footwork, a better hook shot and a better face up game.

So if Maurice = Scola and Martin = Maurice then does Scola = Martin?

Mo Taylor was one of the better dunkers in the league before that Achilles injury and other issues got to him. Truthfully Blake Griffin reminds me of Mo Taylor on steroids.
