My point was that conservatives like yourself argue for personal freedoms unless it violates your religion, in which case your personal freedom argument gets thrown in the garbage.

BUT BUT BUT...the freedom of the fetus!

Again, thank you for proving the exact point I was making.

Republican party is at its core is the party for the super rich, Democrats still favors the rich, but to a much lesser extend.

Republican party is by far the more hypocritical party.

Huh? In my opinion, the right to life of the fetus triumphs the right to her body of the mother unless it threatens her life-- the same principle rules over punches in the face... which are not nearly as final as an abortion.

I have no problem abridging anyone's freedom when it comes to saving another individual's life. Actually, we all live with that limitation EVERYDAY.

It was a "friendly" source for you guys which buttressed the fact that most people that work in schools have been and still are Democrats rather than Republicans. I've worked in several schools. You work in a school if I'm not mistaken. This is a universal truth... which will have exceptions... they are the things that prove the rule.

Could you provide some examples of these abridgments? All I can think of is abortion and that only applies to women and is, IN FACT, more about the rights of the child than the rights of the woman.

There are differences but they're only on the surface.

Im not a christian or even religious. And your point is again clueless. stopping someone from violating another's rights is not an invasion of liberty.

He actually thinks stopping murder is an invasion of the murderer's liberty. unreal.

    No Republican voted for Obamacare

And then embraced the racists once the Democrats had the temerity to pass the Voting Rights Act and Civil Rights Act.

And then kicked their asses to the curb even though doing so cost them nearly the entirety of the voting public in the South for decades.

    Wait what?

80% of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1968 to defeat the Southern Democrats. Republicans are the ones who got it through Congress.

SAme goes for Civil rights Act of 1964. Republicans defeated the Southern Democrats to get them passed.

You haven't realized that the "less government intrusion" line is nothing more than lip service?

When "less freedom" is just lip service, it isn't worth debating.

Yes, and then afterwards, the Republicans welcomed the racists with open arms when Southern Democrats became disgusted with Northern Democrats who helped to get the VRA and CRA passed.

Note that after the mid-1960s, southern states began electing Republicans in greater and greater numbers when the entire region had been completely dominated by Democrats for decades before that.

Ignoring the facts just makes you ignorant.

Last I checked, Roe v Wade was the law of the land...

and I have never heard a non-religious person constantly refer to abortion as "murder." I call BS. You can keep calling me clueless all you want, but that doesn't reverse decades of hypocrisy in the conservative party.

Yes, after the Republicans teamed up with the Northern Democrats to pass the VRA and CRA, they then courted the racists for their votes.

Yes, they are. They began voting for Republicans even though Republican policies hurt them economically.
