heheh.. Silly Jeremy Lin fan. Harden has a TO rate of 14%. Jeremy Lin has a TO rate of 18%. The reason Harden's TO is higher in general is because he has the ball a lot more often(50% more than Lin). The reason he has less A/TO ratio is because he shoots much more, you know, because he's the 4th highest scorer in the NBA. There's no argument for Jeremy Lin over Harden in basically anything, except maybe defense.
Kobe can't keep going forever man. He's having a nice season, but the decline can't be far off with him being 35 next season, and I kinda believe him when he says he will retire while he's still on top. His contract goes through the end of next season, and I don't know if his ego will allow him to accept taking a big pay cut just to decline and decline on the global stage. Would not be surprised to see him call it a career when his contract ends, or maybe sign a one year deal at a huge salary.
Harden's only 23. If Kyle Lowry, Tony Parker and Rajon Rondo can improve their shooting %s why can't Harden? As you said his %s are dragged down by always being the last second shot guy, however one thing Harden can really work on is off-the-ball scoring, which will happen once we get a 2nd tier star or when Beardsanity starts happening more consistently. Harden's TS was abnormally high because he only played a limited amount of time per game (had more energy), he always a either WB or KD on the court as a first option, and he spent part of his time against the other team's subs. 58% TS is quite good for a first option on a team with no other star, and I expect that to rise as he works on his game more, becomes more comfortable playing with Lin and masters Mchale's playbook.
You're contradicting yourself. Harden's TO rate is lower because he shoots more often. Lines is higher because he passes/looks to pass more because, you know, because he's a pg. Your argument makes any criticism of lins turnovers last year mean **** because he had the ball a lot. Its not an excuse.
