I read that he was over his flu-like symptoms. He's been playing pretty bad lately.

If you lost your starting job to one of the oldest players in the league who's also playing with one hand and new to the team, wouldn't that light a fire under you?

This is nothing new for Dalembert... he's been Mr. Inconsistent his whole career. Eventually he'll go on fire for a bit then he'll disappear again. It's just how he is.

I really thought with Camembert we'd have a top 3 rotation but that has not been the case...thus far.

Camby taking the pressure off makes it easier for him to kick back and open up a tall, cold, can of quit.

Nothing new for him. It's why he never took the next step in Philly.

He suffered from brainfarts. Don't worry, he'll eventually have 1 good game...then 3 or more bad games.

Mentally weak that's my view. I hoped he would be a keeper but if this continues the rest of the season out you have consider releasing him and eating that 1.5 mil.

He is himself. Thats who Sam is. Let's try not dwell on the fact we got what we paid for. He is doing some good things at times. Him and Camby are a plus in the size column for the Rockets. It makes it extremely hard to completely run over the Rockets on defense and rebounding every night like teams used to. Now only on some spurts do teams do this. Its usually when the Rockets go small. Then the Rockets choose to go small because they score more at times. They have the choice now. Sam and Camby provide that chance.

He is collecting paycheck type of player, just playing safe instead of playing heart out. Rockets will do him a favor, if we ask him to play for less.

Good news is Morey got an awesome contract for him. He will be a nice trade ASSET come draft day. If not, oh well at least you have a big that can be a difference maker some games when he's locked in. Now we all see why Philly tried to trade him for years.

Everyone saying he quit, but he looks ok in the minutes he's on the floor, especially the Pacers game. McHale just isn't playing him for some reason.

The reason is his defensive rotations. He often leaves his man for a block and it starts a chain reaction that lets the opposing team get a wide open shot or layup. Patterson is great at rotating on defense even though he's outsized alot, at least they will be able to defend better.

When Dalembert holds his ground, stays low, and puts a body on his man he's a top tier center.

hmmm... would Sac do that to get out of that contract? I think with Dalembert's contract this summer you should be able to do better than that in a package.

Really makes you wonder why Sac even traded for him in the first place, what were they expecting exactly.

Chuck should have taken Adelman's offer to join him in Minny, but Sac paid more, and its pretty close to home.
