What happened to Corey brewer's game in one year?

    You agree with that nonsense brewer s defense has been **** as well this season. There have been plenty of times where he was the only one playing bad defense. Why you guys love giving excuses for brewer I'll never know.

    Maybe your TV adds 30 lbs. but he still looks as wiry and speedy as ever.

    I think part of it is the lineup of Smoove, Brewer and Terry was very effective last year partly because he was facing benchwarmers and partly because Smoove was much more effective last year.

    The problem with Brewer this year is the same as always - he is NOT a good defender and he can't shoot. He gets steals because he gambles like hell. But he isn't good at staying in front and he is too skinny to guard bigger wings and forwards. There isn't much room for a skinny wing who can't shoot and can't guard bigger players. In contrast Ariza performed well in small ball lineups while guarding players like Griffin.

    We basically overpaid him in an attempt to preserve chemistry because his play definitely did not merit $8 million/year, and wings like him are a dime a dozen.
