What former Rocket would you like to see back on the team?

I say Sam Cassell, though not because of what he can do on the court. I'm saying because of his leadership and other mentalities. I think he could be a decent coach, and would like to see him come here and learn from Adelman and get a shot here.

I would love to see Robert end his career where it began i think it would be a great story...but boki nachbar would be the best since hes improved so much since hes left houston

 

None, essentially, although, I agree, it would be nice for Robert Horry to end his career here. And get another ring! How many does he have? Seven?

Of all the dumb transactions the rockets have made in the last 10 years, letting Hakeem go to the raps was the most disappointing decision they've made in my opinion, should have never let him go! I know he was beyond his prime etc, but they should have just bit the bullet and paid him and bit the bullet, it's not like they got anywhere without him. With guys' of Hakeem's stature you keep them as long as possible.

 

The salaries are close but don't quite match. Rafer + Lucas for Sam + 1st rounder. If they won't bite on the 1st rounder then I guess a 2nd rounder works.

 

None of the above. They can't give us anything we don't already have.

I think sam would be perfect for this team at this point in his career.

he would immediately become the leader of this team...

we could give him the robert horry treatment...giving him limited minutes and hold him for the playoffs. this would be a good transition for brooks as well.

not to mention sam has an expiring contract.

I think the clippers would bite on a package of sura and rafer to pick him up. they could still sign francis and skip could back him up.

I think all parties win in this scenario.

Although for nostalgia reasons, I'd give my left testicle to see Sam Cassell retire in a Rockets uniform. To see him throw an alley-oop to Yao.. jeez, what a bookend to Sam's career. To start with Dream and end with Yao. That thought gives me goosebumps.

 

I can't believe Flyin' Ryan isn't on the list.
