Travessty man. What bad advice from his agents. They should be fired and never allowed to rep anyone ever again.
well his agent is the one who got him that offer. your agent can't force you to do anything. Noel is the one who is the real idiot
Noel should be a player the Rockets really try to sign if LeBron stays in "The Land" or goes somewhere else like Philly. Center position of Capela, Noel, Wright would be devastating. Always have the alley-oop threat. Use Nene when necessary. He is getting about $4.2 million in his final year in Dallas. Give him double that on a 2 year contract. 2nd year team option. He will be around a winning culture for the 1st time in his career. C: Capela (28), Noel (20) PF: LMaM (20), Anderson (18), Tucker (10) SF: Ariza (30), Tucker (8), Green (10) SG: Harden (18), EGO (20) PG: CP3 (32), Harden (16)
30 million? Oh...you mean Anderson + Noel Well of course I would want Anderson traded but **** happens. This team currently constructed is a championship level team. If he can't be moved then at least get a big of value. If Noel sucks, don't resign him. If he is great, he will be well worth the contract.
the C position doesn't even belong to just those two. And you're giving a raise to Noel and for what exactly. he hasn't exactly proved anything
He is only 23 years old. He has shown elite blocking AND steals from the big position. He has potential and the Rockets offense would fit his skill set of running pick and roll a la Capela. I understand that he is injury prone. But he will command more than $4.2 million because of feats he has shown(provided) in Philly before Embiid and last year in Dallas. If you can pay him less, go for it. I'm guessing his services will be up for bidding hence the 8 million max price tag. It's a one to two year rental. If he wants to go to some team worse than ours that pays him more than oh well. We tried. Move along.
I wouldn't say noel is elite at anything. theres a few people that seem to be stuck on the hype he had coming out of kentucky. thats all it is. hes a mediocre player
No. I'm talking about NBA stats. He has had 100 blocks and 100 steals in a season or two. He averaged a block and a steal last year in 20 minutes. Plus PnR all day. He contributes to both offense and defense within the scheme. The Rockets don't need another superstar. Just players that will know their role. Even mediocre players in the right situation can look good.
