What excuse will they use for denying Harden MVP this season?

I would have no problem whatsoever with lebron winning it. Dude very much deserves to be in the conversation. Hes playing insanely well.

Only way I will feel robbed is if we win >60 games and the cavs win like 54.

If we win 10 more games than the cavs and harden still has crazy stats then I will feel robbed.

 

LeBron I have no problem with provided the Cavs actually have a respectable win total. If they're around 51 wins like last season though, I'm sorry, but I don't care what his numbers look like.

 

Pretty much agreed, though if they end the season even with close records and stats similar to now, I'd still think objectively Harden should be in the lead. Higher ppg, apg... which are counting stats that "stand out" so to speak.

No excuse this year. Harden should have been MVP last season and hes even better this year. His scoring prowess and overall offensive game is otherworldly. It’s gotten to the point where it’s absolutely impossible to ignore.

 

Personally I'd have no problem with LeBron winning it. He'd actually deserve it & like Harden, he's been robbed of a couple MVPs because of narratives.

Narratives aside, I think this year's Lebron is better than last year's Westbrook as well. The man is extremely efficient just like Harden.
If season ends today it's Harden no questions asked. If Cavs continue winning, he will be Harden's biggest threat.

Paul Pierce flat out lying on TV about Cousins. He says Cousins is averaging 30 points and 15 rebounds. Dude is averaging 25.5 points per game and 12.6 rebounds. He's having a great season, but if it's really that great, why the need to lie?

 

I just saw this.... wtf is going on here? 25 points vs 30 points is a huge difference along with 12 rebounds to 15 boards. Does Pierce have a hidden agenda against Harden or what?

 

Paul Pierce has been absolutely awful as an analyst in my opinion. In fact, the only ex-player I actually trust to say something insightful is Chauncey Billups. The rest of them clearly don't watch games, don't give a **** about what's right, and are only there to crack jokes and say outrageous stuff.
