He can't be worse than Garcia. Dude deserves a shot.

Please elaborate, I just want to make sure I'm getting this correct.

So, McHale doesn't know how to develop shooting guards yet he knows how to develop point guards? Why couldn't he develop Lin? I confused...

No. Garcia plays 2&3 and hasn't some of his minutes been coming on for Harden?

    We're not Sam Hinkie's 76ers.

We're trying to win games, OP.

Actually, 6'4" is tiny for a SG, very tiny. He is a twig in build. He plays the 2, that's it. When Harden goes down to Injury, he will get minutes. I said before, Terry gets them now.

A shot at what? Garcia is 6'8 1/2, Daniels is 6'4" in shoes....

Rookies have to earn their minutes. Period.

he has had a chance a few times, but also the teams focus is more on defence and he unfortunately is a poor defender

you can't blame time for his missed shots, he has missed open shots as well

i still remember that 0-5 game and most of those were wide open

he just has to keep training hard and wait for his chance

but like i have said, people get seduced by his shooting way too much

He's the same height as Redick but weighs more :( .. why can't they just make him watch old Duke and BYU tapes 10 hours a day?!:(

Bro stop saying that that's not the case. Black had one double double all of preseason.. Daniels spent his "rookie" season in the dleague like others did and came up big in the playoffs. He is now a sophomore :)

You are right. But i'm responding to the jtr saying rookies have to "earn" their minutes. Seems like Black is living off that one or two good games he had in the preseason. We did cut Jeff Adrien for him.

He's living off of the fact that we are dangerously thin at the position he plays. If we were thin at the 2, your guy would get more burn but that's probably our deepest position on the entire team.

I'd love to see TD get some PT as well.
But you can see when he steps onto the court, he's a bit scrawny.
And if his shots aren't falling, he doesn't add much value.

Garcia has been laying bricks as well, but he's been hawking it on defense.
At least trying to make hustle plays.

Daniels really doesn't give you much on D.
He's just there to jack up the ball when it gets in his hands.

But, Canaan did a GREAT job tonight against SAC.
    Good job Isaiah!

You don't get to play into your shot. It doesn't work that way.

Daniels just flat out isn't very good.

What's even more confusing is don't we have the best shooting guard in the league? I am sure he was not the best when we got him.

Actually Danny Green is considered a lock down defender in SA.
