I'd make 2. Asik rebounds and defense but that is just about it. Outside of that, nothing else is consistent enough on this team other then 3 point attempts.
Why would people even suggest that this team has no identity? Would someone please go look at the other team's pre-game interviews and how ALL they talk about is what they are going to do to COUNTER our GAMEPLAN... McHale just says "we are going to play the way we play" with regards to our style. The other teams all marvel at our offense capabilities and have to adjust their schemes accordingly. Just ask yourself this real quick, why do we get such a high % of defensive rebounds? Because the other teams all have made the adjustment of maintaining court balance and rebounding discipline by NOT crashing the offensive boards from the 1, 2 or 3. The other coach's tell their wings to rotate back defensively so they don't allow transition buckets. People think we get defensive rebounds because of some God mode factor that Omer has.... We get them because our bread and butter (high tempo) scares the **** out of the other team, and they adjust what they do against us.
No one wants to say that we have absolutely no identity anymore? One lucid argument and the trolls scatter and the thread drops down the page like every time this crap comes up...
