What do you like to get at Buc-ee's?

Gas, jerky, kolaches, fudge.

 

Why, other than desperation, would you buy kolaches or jerky there when there's a dozen other better places within distance?

 

They have good jerky there. Where is the place for best Kolache's? I'm partial to Pena's Donut Heaven here.

 

Cinnamon rolls and the Chocolate chip cookies.

 

West!, Ellinger, Schulenburg, La Grange, Prasek's (don't know the town)

I've kicked around the idea of bankrolling a kolache shop here in Marble Falls, it would bank money.

Their jerky is tolerable, it's just not all that great for my tastes.

eta: your Pena's place looks awesome, that's a ridiculous menu.

 

I'll need to recall this on my next road trip.

I rarely go in there, but IIRC the sandwiches were pretty good.
