Anyone who spends time in the d&d would think liberals, Muslims, Palestinians, and minorities are the root of all evil.

Love, peace, and all that stuff. Bless Israel, bless Palestine, bless liberals, and god bless conservatives.

Surely, Hamas has killed civilians in the past. They have yet to kill a civilian in this recent episode of violence. Not because they don't want to, regrettably, they do want to inflict civilian casualties in retaliation for the siege of Gaza.

Fact remains though: Hamas is unable of inflicting those casualties. They are essentially impotent.

Whereas israel is a professional killing machine. 36 children dead in a week. Just deplorable.

Would this be true if Iron Dome wasn't so effective? Who knows what Hamas is truly capable of at this point?

The facts are they want to fight a guerrilla war and have drawn Israel into a ground campaign by the rocket fire. Hamas leaders want Gazans to remain in areas where Israel has asked them to flee.

    Which do you support more:
    1. Hamas continues resistance and fights in highly populated area.
    2. Demilitarization of Gaza/West Bank in exchange for monetary aid.

They were warned to stop firing rockets or Israel would step up and stop it. They didn't stop firing rockets...

Prove to me that I'm lying. Use credible sources. It's easy to document rocket fire and statements given through official government channels.

Pro-Palestinian NGOs and the IDF Spokesperson Unit aren't exactly the safest yardstick for the truth. No one is going to get anything out to the public that doesn't get officially approved by censors who are looking to preserve their respective brands (and more importantly, the positions of their policy makers), and if they did they wouldn't be in their jobs for long.

You can't bring order to that chaos.. That's the nature of war- who says everyone has always killed in an honorable way?can't help but say the Palestinians are bringing this upon themselves, and even worse, their children, by electing to stay in that region despite the rest of middle east being Muslim. You got to adapt with the times or you'll cause yourself alotta pain

How are they going to leave when they:
    1. live in destitute poverty & can't afford food or potable water, much less a plane ticket.
    2. aren't allowed to by Hamas
    3. aren't allowed an exit visa by Israel even if they manage to get by 1 & 2

To believe that Gazans "bring this on themselves" is to be willfully ignorant of the conditions under which they live and to falsely presume they have some say in what their leaders do.

"Adapting with the times" means to keep their mouths shut from fear of punishment by Hamas and to buy food on the black market.

Not Gazans, but the muslim community. All the talk of brotherhood and us vs them in the middle east, but with billions of dollars in oil money pouring in, they can build fake islands but not help out their own brothers in need? it is called social responsibility and something that is largely ignored in certain nations.

ENTIRE middle east needs to act on this. Hamas should be obliterated as they cause more suffering than anything else... like all radical terrorist groups. Time for the islamic community to start thinking about future generations instead of living an idealistic fantasy that causes mass suffering time and time again.

We're talking about the conflict between Gaza and Israel. And I'm not sure what you mean by muslim community, unless you mean the Arab League, which is neither inclusive of all muslim states, nor is it much of an organization with any political capital. I can't think of a more fractured and secterian grouping of people, especilly considering the lion's share of lethal wars underway on our planet are largely muslim vs muslim.

The only ones talking about brotherhood and an "us" vs. "them" are extremist groups looking to reform a pan-arab caliphate, namely ISIS and al-Quada which see the petro-barons that have billions in oil money (as well as pretty much anyone who doesn't subscribe to a narrow wahabite reading of Sunni doctrine) as their greatest enemies. And as it is, the Gulf States have been sending significant aid money to Gaza and have tried to broker a lasting peace.

Hamas control an area about the size of Katy and are pretty much under siege by Egypt and Israel, and would have probably already gone to war with the Palestinian Authority if they shared a border. It has few friends in the world other than Iran, Hizbollah, and a handful of naive and extreme European peace activists.

Groups like Hizbollah and ISIS have way more resources, a much larger following, and are way more threatening to Israel and other states in the Levant. As it has been explained many times, Hamas largely exists because the State of Israel supported it in the 80s as a counter to the secular and much more threatening at the time PLO.

I think maybe you are confusing the Middle East with Middle-Earth and muslims with the orcs from the Lord of the Rings books.

Deji, BROTHER, it's about cutting your losses. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS ASIDE, BECAUSE WELL, IT JUST DOESN'T APPLY IN THIS CASE, a man sinking in a boat with his family needs to know when to get out the lifeboats and sail to shore. Once you get this idea out there, this thought process to the masses, we'll see a change in the fundamentalist KILL THEM or be KILLED mentality.
Right now, hizbollah and co. can exist because they brainwash the poor muslims without the resources to know better, without any alternates to know they can end the suffering. If you step back and look at the big picture, the solution is pretty simple.
