Ok, I saw this thread yesterday and had no freaking clue why someone was asking about the color of some ugly blue-and-black dress. I thought, maybe someone bought it from an online catalog, and when it arrived, it was much more pale blue than the color indicated on the website pictured. Shrug. Made some comment about Clinton and a cigar. Moved along. But this morning, I heard the guys on 790 talking about the internet blowing up about this picture of this dress, and how it supposedly 'changes colors'.. and I'm like, huh?? So I pull up this thread again this morning, and look at the EXACT SAME PICTURE I saw yesterday, and holy crap.. yesterday it was sort of pale blue with sort of dark gray stripes. And this morning I look at it and it was a white dress with sort of gold/tan stripes. So I'm thinking there must be some kind of confusing issue with the video drivers, with the monitor, whatever. Go through the whole thread, they are all white and gold. Thinking, ok, very strange. And NOW, it's all back to blue and black. I don't know if it's my eyes, or just the weird combination of colors making the computer randomly incorrectly assign these particular shade combinations, I have no idea. It's extremely weird. I am going to take pictures of the screen with my phone.. see if anything changes there...

You should just have posted the picture on the right. That is what is messing with people's heads. Also, why make the poll anonymous?
If I just look at it, it looks white, but if I scroll my middle mouse wheel quickly up and down it looks blue. Either way, I think this is some sort of sorcery and the picture taker should be burned at the stake.

I must be really weird. In this image it looks blue and black to me. In this image though to me it looks like dull gold (bronze) and turquoise.
For an experiment what color is this uniform? In the original image the dress looks to me like these colors.
If you see white/gold, you eye is losing its sensitivity to blue. YOUR EYE is degrading. Don't worry, we all decay over time.
I feel like the white/gold people are making it up. Anyway, this reminds me of an episode of Babylon 5 where the Drazi start killing each other. Why? Because they are purple. Why do the purple kill the others? Because they are green.
