Wow. That's just......wow. It would be better if I didn't know that you were older than 12 years old.

You really need to read some economists. It is good to have a little debt - and paying it down is not a priority - or you could just cut the military way down and use that money to pay it down if you like...as we don't need a big military.

Hell your savior Trump knows all about debt - that is his entire history.......and you expect him to do something different with the country.....

College would be good for you......

Yes, a little debt.....we're not talking about a little debt, we're talking about a massive amount of debt. I know you want to try to make an intelligent argument here, but seriously, don't you know that you don't have the intellectual capacity for that kind of thing? I'm being serious here. You know that you are out of your lane here, right? Shouldn't you stick to basketball hot takes?

Also, if you were even a halfway competent poster, you'd know that I'm not and have never been a Trump supporter. You licking Obama's balls and me calling you out for it doesn't suggest that either.

I honestly don't think college, or anything, can help you.

Well considering that I already have a college education, and several successful businesses which I have sold, I am pretty ok with my educated takes.

And you? What have you done?

    Initiate the crickets....

LOL, I'm sure. Anyway kiddo, just stick to your lane. Your posts speak for themselves and they suggest that you don't have any business trying to talk politics or economics with anyone even if you went to Johnny Buckwheat Junior College and have a basket weaving degree.

Wow! What a tiny turnout for Trump. The difference between the two inaugurations is staggering.

DD is one of those well offs that actually do not put self interests first, just like plenty of voters who voted for Trump to give super rich the tax break (they do not put self interests first either lol)

I feel no different than I did six hours ago, when Trump was not yet president. I don't feel any greater; I also don't feel any lesser. I didn't even notice that he had become president, that Obama was no longer president.

In many ways, I believe I have become immune to the rhetoric of mainstream US politics. I hope that is a good thing. I am grateful to know that someday, a candidate that I support will lose, yet, I will not have my sense of self-worth and well-being diminished one bit by their loss.

The good of the nation means that it is better when everyone has a chance and is educated. We are trending away from that to where people like Bobby will not have that chance.

Bernie Sanders should be our President, he had by far the best message and plan for this country, now we will unravel some significant progress to line the pockets of the elite some more.

Newsflash, this is the greatest disparity of wealth in history and every single time that has happened - it leads to revolution.

You are like a machine splurting out platitudes. "Obama doubled the debt". Ya we heard that trope millions of times.

He was just not the right messenger for his own messages, we still have plenty of socialist fearing citizens in this country.

PFFT. that is nothing I got tons of time while the new version builds, and I type FAST !

    ;)

And that is pure ignorance, there are plenty of socialized programs already in our country.

Police, Fire Department, Public Schools, Government - that is a left over fear from McCarthism, hell we are the only civilized country in the world without a nationalized healthcare program.

Citizens HEALTH should not be for profit.

As I said little man, your posts speak for themselves and you've proved time and time again that you don't have any business trying to talk politics or economics with anyone. You are basically the CF version of Donald Trump.....but nowhere near as well off.

And you are an enlisted man with no formal education including junior college, so? What nuanced knowledge do you have in pretty much anything?

I love when uppity folks like yourself get up with their 'dur dur dur we need more educated folks' speeches. Here is a newsflash for you; People who do well in our public schools can find funding for a college education. In contrast, if a student can't pass our public education before becoming an adult, how does one expect a 'free college education' to help them any further?

We dont need a free college education system. What we need to do is get college costs under control. The change in the market that basically demanded a college degree of any kind is whats caused this inflation. Kids are paying 100k for some crappy BA degree just to meet this basic standard. There are many ways to help with college education than handing out free education and burdening tax payers.

What we really need to do is fix our public education system. We also need to stop walking on egg shells and start telling it how it is. Yes, there are schools in bad areas and we have to stop treating them the same as if they are a great school in the suburbs. Setting the same barometer for all schools is not practical. Lets fix this before babbling on about free college.

Actually we DO need a free college education system - you know WHY? Because manufacturing jobs are being usurped, not by Mexicans, but by Robots, and if people want to be in the NEW WORLD - and compete they need to have the education to do so.

Did you know that your children can go to Germany for college for FREE, take all their classes in English and graduate? Now why is that? Maybe because Germany doesn't waste all of it's tax dollars on bloat and graft, but instead puts the money towards its own people and standard of living.

Yes, we need to fix the public education system - I agree with you there, do you honestly believe that DeVoss has ANY clue on how to do that?

As for Uppity folks (a racist recycled term, well done), I SURE AS **** am educated, paid my owned DAMNED way through too, as my uneducated parents could not afford it.....Why? Because I wanted to earn more and give my kids a life better than mine.....

And you know what else? I WANT THAT FOR YOU TOO!

In 2015, the INTEREST on the debt amounted to 223 billion (a quarter of a TRILLION dollars)....and it was only that little because of historically low interest rates.

How many programs could have been funded by hundreds of billions of dollars?
