Nah... it's in the living room... and it would be "competing" with the TV. We've used that product though.
CD of the new DMB songs Joyride, Crazy/Easy, Hello Again (dammit, not a Neil Diamond cover) and Sugar Will. Great, great stuff. About to pop in Los Lonely Boys.
Thanks. I guess I am a bundle of contradictions ricocheting through the travails of life. I believe Slapshifter is playing on Friday at Rudyard's and I intend to take in that show.
A Better Version of Me and Extraordinary Machine- The two newest songs by Fiona Apple that finally leaked onto the net. H from TooL up next. One can NEVER get enough TooL.
"Handshake Drugs" - Wilco I got my new CDs today and went through one listen of the Cure's self-titled album and now am listening to Wilco's "A Ghost Is Born" CD. Thoughts on the Cure CD: it is not Bloodflowers by any means but it seemed a little better than Wild Mood Swings on the first listen, but other than the last track, I could not get that excited about it. I'll have to give it a couple more spins before I can just give up on it. Meanwhile the Wilco CD, from what I have listened to so far, is pretty damn good. If you like piano, they have it quite a bit on there plus seems there is more guitar on it. It is not as spacey as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - it is more like a conventional alternative rock album. Oh man! I have been wondering when she was going to do something new. I had heard over 8 months ago, that she was going to release a new album back in February. I didn't really like When the Pawn but I loved Tidal, especially "Pale September". How are those 2 songs? Are they like the ones on Tidal or more like When the Pawn or completely different?
Manny, they sound a lot like the songs on When the Pawn. She gets stranger on every album, but I'm still a Fiona addict. Love that girls music/lyrics/passion/eyes.
