Coming back from lunch, I was listening to one of the rarest, almost Holy Grail like songs by the Cure in "To the Sky" (such a kickass song). Now, I am going to finish the 3rd disc of Dylan's "Biograph" box set as I will be listening to these songs: "Romance in Durango" "Senor (Tales of Yankee Power)" "Gotta Serve Somebody" "I Believe in You" "Time Passes Slowly" "I Shall Be Released" "Knocking on Heaven's Door" "All Along the Watchtower" "Solid Rock" "Forever Young" Then later tonight, I plan on listening to all of "Gish" by the Smashing Pumpkins and Machina II if I have time. I have never been one to listen to just songs - I rather go through the entire album. There is a possibility that my latest batch of CDs could arrive today which means listening to the new albums by the Cure and Wilco.

Other than listening to my AC run, and my fan blow, I WAS listening to Usher's "Confessions" in my head, but then you guys started talking about Christina Milan, so now that's what's stuck in my head. THANKS. j/k BTW, earlier I'd been listening to WMP on random, and in my car this morning I had Ludacris' Back for the First Time in my CD player
I'm sooooooo jealous! Manny, any buzz on the new album from Wilco? (apologies if there's already a thread about this -- if so, missed it) Over the past two years, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot has climbed up the list of my all-time-favorite albums and is somewhere in the Top 5. I can't wait.
You've got great taste in music for somebody who is a tool of the establishment! PS: The brother of the harmonica player in my blues band has played bass on all of Alejandro Escovedo's CDs.
I'm too poor for an iPod...I copied a bunch of CD's to my real player and right now, it's on Sade, Love Deluxe...pretty mellow...I've had a crap day, so this helps...
I have been told that it is COMPLETELY different from YHF. I will post what I think about it and the Cure album once I spin them a couple of times.
