    The past 10 years have been pretty much awful for me. The constant was always starting the new year completely wasted and laying in bed the entire 1st of Jan. Thinking i might stay home and watch a movie. Don't know if i will stay sober or at least build a little buzz with some wine.

    I just know an 11th straight bad year would drive me to the deepest point of depression which is probably suicidal thoughts..

    New Years Eve is amateur night. I try to stay in with my wife and people I actually like.

    I can do just about all the same things people do on New Year's eve for cheaper any other night of the year. And I won't be surrounded by obnoxious where it's so crowded I can't move.

    Taking my pregnant wife out to a wild dinner with reservations at 4:45 PM. I will drink heavily, feel a little guilty that she can't drink, and be thankful she's there to drive me home to pass out by 7 PM. Looking forward to it.
