Much easier, well said sir ;)
I'm old school, I just like seeing guys play their career and have their greatest moments with one team (it's easier to appreciate, to me, because it doesn't happen as much anymore now like back then).

Depends on the PG. Stockton moved the ball very quickly but was in an entirely different system. You need to have a system where the PG isn't the only one who can make the pass, other teammates have to set each other up. Sloan would be good for Paul=== see:Deron.

You rather want Shane Battier? Mo Williams? Jeremy Lin?

Nobody is blaming Chris Paul for some of his teammates' struggles

. I'm personally blaming Chris Paul b/c he let the opposing PG outplay him. WB dominating is the MAIN reason OKC won, not Durant.

The 2 best players in the series played for OKC. CP3 is supposed to be a top 3 player.

Well he was the best 6th man in the regular season but look how he played in this series, calling him elite in this debate only makes sense if he played like an elite 6th man in this series.

He didn't win 6th man of the year? You don't consider that an elite role player? Guess you have high standards. Maybe Durant isn't an elite player although he won an MVP.

    What's the main reason?

    WB - 28, 6, 9, 49%, 35%, 2 steals.

He was the best player in games 2, 3, 5. So in 3 of OKC's wins, he was OKC's best player.

Plus he completely outclassed CP3 in games 2 and 5, not just outplayed.

How would you rank Doc Rivers on his coaching with the Clippers this year?

    The bottom line is Durant>>>>Paul

Paul has more of a complete team but Durant is the type of TRUE superduperstar that can win a series by himself

Elite role player Deandre Jordan also wasn't so elite this series. Last game he had 0 pts 4 rebs.

3 games in this series with no blocks. He was solid at best

You don't understand the ineptness of Cleveland, had LeBron been drafted by another team that had a good foundation like the Bulls and the Lakers when Jordan and Kobe got drafted, he would've never left that team. Had Kobe or Jordan been drafted by 2003 Cleveland they would of left as well...

I already told you the main reason. The main reason is because Kevin Durant is playing with Westbrook not CP3.

Switch the two with them putting up the same numbers and OKC still wins that there is definitely not debatable.

Clips brought him in to make them tougher defensively. They still sucked defensively.

And they lost this series b/c they sucked defensively.

So switching CP3 with WB in game 5 and OKC would win? Assuming same numbers as you stated.

Exactly what does a regular season award have to do with the playoffs?

Stop acting like this dude is a prime Ginobili or something. He's an iso jumpshooter

I'm saying OKC would have won the series regardless, not sure what singling out 1 game of that series is going to do.

That's not why they brought Doc Rivers in.

They brought him in because first of all they wasted 3 years on a coach worse than Kevin McHale in Vinny Del Negro who was clueless and relied on the same save me with your iso play offense.

They don't have Bledsoe, Caron Butler or Ronny Turiaf anymore, so of course the defense isn't going to be better. They defended the 3 well but that was it.

Deandre got a more defined role instead of being sat for mistakes and he led the league in very important categories to help the team despite all of the injuries.

He also implemented actual playsets and was a leader to the team instead of just giving Chris Paul the ball and saying do something.

They need to get Darren Collinson away from him though because there is a reason he's been bounced around so much. His brains only lasts for a short while.

I think if you give Doc the players they will play for him and he knows how to plug them in.

OKC and Clips are pretty damn close in terms of talent. Having Durant wouldn't guarantee you winning the series b/c he cost his team one game and nearly did another.

A lot of people picked the Clips to advance, hell to the Finals.

I'm sorry but you are delusional if you think CP3 on OKC would have problems with Westbrook on this Clippers team.

Absolutely delusional, that series wouldn't even be close.

It would have been pretty neat if his team/management could have acquired a star like Pippen (Bulls and Jordan), Gasol (Lakers and Kobe) or Parker (Spurs and Duncan), as opposing to guys like Mo. Williams. It also would be pretty neat if guys were as quick to go to Cleveland as they were to cities like LA. Team management and city lifestyle aren't really things that players control, no matter how great they are.

And even if you dislike him leaving, it doesn't change the fact that he arguably is the best player since Jordan even if he retired today. Not based on how folks feel about him, but based on what he has actually done on the basketball court.
