Didin't think it was possible until movement with Paul George. Never expected it could happen. Once it did, it was quick with ownership & Harden and something we had to get done if we could.

(What would you say to those who don't know you?) That I'm a nice guy. When I play the game, I'm going out to compete, to win. I don't care how that looks. Off the floor, figuring out & understanding I am human. I'm a good person, just so you guys know. I do care about the community, team, teammates. I want to make sure we have a chance to win.
Fan of NBA duos? Russ: It's interesting but I don't care about other duos. My main focus is what we have going on here. Daryl, where would you rank the Russell Westbrook acquisition? I'm not worried about looking back. To add a MVP winner, it's special.
Where do you see the roster? We feel good about where we're at. We'll always continue to try & upgrade. If there's a significant guy we can add, we'll do it. Probably through trade than signing given where free agency is at. You know us, we're never done. It could be an acquisition before the season or something during the season like last year that gives us a boost.
I'm liking what he's saying and the way he's saying it. We REALLY need his competitive attitude and I like that James called him "relentless" because that can be infectious and that's something else we can use.
