Did they or did they not win the game?

They won the ****ing game who cares is Durant scored 70 or not they both got their points efficiently.

I also like how everyone blames Westbrook in the playoffs without realizing that in a few of those games down the stretch Durant made no effort to get open at the end and was just standing around.

You would be a little right but the thunder team the way it is right now you are flat wrong. You think that Durant needs to score 35 a game or something and would any energy at all to rebound or play D. Because that's what he would have to do. Ibaka would not be able to focus and have 10 block games he would have to shoot and post up more.

What are people going to say if they win championships? They should have won easier and by more points? Eventually your probably going have answer that.

Durant's scoring enough points. James Harden should be putting in 20 a game though. And sorry, I just don't think the Thunder will ever win a championship with Westbrook dominating the ball. I don't recall any championship team with a PG taking that many shots. If they win, then I guess I'll be wrong, but I doubt it.

id honestly take westbrook. i like westbrooks intensity. he flat out plays harder than deron williams and is a better defender. he also puts more pressure on defenses with his explosiveness. defenses are so scared of his drives defenses usually back off him so far as soon as he threatens they leave him wide open for mid range jumpers.

westbrook started the season terribly, and now is having a career high in FG%. that shows you just how good hes been lately. hes damn near unguardable.

i love how everyone likes to talk trash about westbrook while the thunder are tied for best record in the league. obviously its working for them so what is the problem ?

DWill scores effortlessly..Passes effortlessly...and leads effortlessly..... Therefore its an effortless conclusion that DWill is far more superior than WB...effortlessly..lol

When it's you and no one else, 41% doesn't seem to be that bad....Remember Iverson??

The East was a lot weaker back then.

And please don't compare D Will's supporitng cast to Iverson's. D Will's supporting cast is similar to Tracy Mcgady in Orlando.

I still think Deron Williams is the best pure PG in the league and would rather have him than any other PG in the league. However, he is a PG and not a chucker so he needs decent players to pass to. He's not going to go off for 30+ to keep crappy teams competitive.

If you trade Westbrook for Williams, both the Nets and Thunder would have a better record.

ok compare them to orlando, tmac led that team to the playoffs....

roster had andrew declerq, drew gooden, jaques vaugn, darrell armstrong and gordon giricek as its next best players.... not even as good as dwills current squad and had them above .500 and almost upset the pistons.

i disagree the thunder would have a better record. williams is not the defender westbrook is and is not as relentless attacking on offense. if you are going to argue they would better offensively with williams, they dont need any help there they score enough.

TMac was a special player.... And those players on that Orlando team were young, athletic, and slightly decent....DWill is playing with journeymen, injured players, and just unproductive players....

T-Mac that year posted MVP type numbers and played like an MVP. And T-Mac's game works well even if he has a ****ty supporting cast.

Westbrook and Rose could produce even without great offensive teammates because they excel at 1 vs 1 play.

Deron Williams is much more of a team oriented guy. He has the ability to make his teammates look better in the right system.

I mean outside of the incredible Hump and maybe Morrow, most of these players are at best end of the rotation players.

brooks, morrow, lopez and humphries are better than anyone on that magic team

youre making every excuse in the world for deron williams. people call him the best PG in the league without much to back it up. he hasnt been anything special since leaving sloans system.

As someone stated, he needs players..No denying that... But to say he isn't a top 3 PG is foolish... You mentioned his FG% as the reason he isn't a top PG... He's playing hurt and he probably feels obligated to save a sinking ship... So he may be pressing to get up shots, because let's face it, they playing from behind most nights.....

it's because people read stat lines, d-will is a distributor whose playing on a team that can miss wide open shots like its a manufacturing line, even if he was playing on our team in lowry's place, he'd be pulling 2-3 more assists per game just because our guys are at least competent at moving off the ball and hitting the open shots.

you guys act like hes playing with complete scrubs.

they are 15th in offensive efficiency so they must not be that bad. if he was so good they wouldnt be 14 games under .500 right now is all im saying.
