To score 55 points. Harden can do that too. Hopefully, the non-espn educated voters take that into consideration.
If he wasn't such a chucker, his team probably wouldn't have struggled against a team 20 games below .500....but that's just who Westbrick is.
it's not in Harden's DNA to take that many shots Westbrook is like a Kobe, Harden is like a Durant...both are incredible scorers, but 1 values efficiency and the other does not
NBA studio tv announcers where chanting mvp mvp mvp and mocked the host for even considering Harden. Not good.
Don't like Westbrook because of the attention he's taking from Harden but you can't really hate on 21-40 shooting for 57 points.
A week ago I was against sharing the award, but that may be the only option for Harden at this point to get the award.
He still shot 50%. Y'all really gotta get over this MVP thing if Westbrook wins he wins. He's damn near just as deserving... I care way more about proving we can play with the elites in the playoffs
Not true at all, Westbrick makes his team worse because he's only out to get individual stats, that's not MVP material. He's about to break the NBA record for usage%.....and no player in the top 5 currently got to see the second round of the playoffs that season, Westbrick's current spot in the top 5 was a season he didn't even make the playoffs. Being an extreme ball hog NEVER helps your team.
Yeah I'm convinced. There should be co-mvps this year. WB is going for it. I honestly aint mad at him.
Then you are going to be severely disappointed. MVP was the one realistic thing we could achieve and now we probably walk away with only the 6th man of the year award and nothing else. Excuse me if I am a bit upset!!!
Westbrook midway through the third was -17! -17! This dude was not helping his team at all even though he had 26 points. The narrative is ridiculous. The guy is a stat hoarder. Of course he had to take every shot just for them to get back into the game lol. There team is a** and it takes everything to beat a crappy team.
