Klay out for at least of most next season.....

Durant gone for the whole season.....

Can the Rockets capitalize?? I don't know but their odds jumped after tonight

Even if they do as currently built they’re not good enough to beat the raptors or bucks, imo.

DM must improve the roster meaningfully. It’s not even a question.

Next year is wide open. Its gonna be a crazy offseason - potentially huge shift in dynamics among East/West depends on a few key FA decisions. Would rather keep our core together and try it one more time unless we can pull off a trade like DeRozan for Lenoard

Even if they do they have a good chance to beat Raptors or Bucks, imo

Still, DM needs to try do improve the roster. Fireworks

It would be nice to have a chance.

Who knows the rockets may get lucky like raptors this year and also have some players have the series of their life like VanVleet.

Whoever got Van Vleet was darn fortunate. Oh well.

They’d have to learn to trust the others a lot more.

Should the Rockets just run it back considering Warriors won't have Durant and Klay next season? We are clearly the 2nd best team in the west this year and possible #1 next year with the same guys...

Absolutely. Just know while the raptors are busy paying for championships we'll be saving a LOT of money this summer

We need alittle bit of heart. We need to stay level headed, not get too high or too low. 1 win don’t mean ****. We gotta keep playing like we didn’t accomplish ****

The roster imo is good enough but we needed a coaching change, somebody who knows how to coach instead of leaving to Harden to figure it out on the court all the time. Kawhi doesnt have that responsibility. Curry and Kd dont have that responsibility. But somehow Harden needs to do Dumbtoni's job for him thats why he develops bad habits at end of games.

The team is too damn small. Gotta get bigger.

We don’t have a chance. CP3 will be atrocious next year.

No, this will lead to defeat. None of the contenders will be sitting around, and neither will Ujiri be satisfied sitting on his laurels.

He went undrafted. Morey went after Zhou Qi. Marcus instead of Kawhi was his biggest mistake. Dorsey instead of DJ was another one.

Everyone makes mistakes, but these ones hurt us a lot.

Rockets need to improve, Chris Paul is likely not getting better, we'll be like if he doesn't get worse, PJ is 34...as today there's no guarantee we beat anyone, Bucks, Raptors (assuming Kawhi stays), Sixers (assuming Butler stays) or even a team like the Blazers, Jazz or OKC in the West.

It must be fun to continuously wallow in basketball self pity and negativity, always looking for the worst in everything, because otherwise why continue to do it? It's like 2Pat's trade sucked the life out of you and now you're just a joyless husk of your former funny self, like a sad and petty clown.
