Other than that first round pick, and our first round pick if we manage to make the playoffs and earn the opportunity to get beat up by GSW/SAS/OKC. So yeah we might have lost out on those 2 first round picks, but now we'll be able to have DMo play for 20 or so games before he leaves at the end of the season for nothing. Woo. Hoo.
You people are celebrating losing a first round pick for 26 games of broken D-Mo and streaky chucker Thornton, who will have little to no impact as this team heads toward a 5 game first-round series exit.

I was unhappy D-Mo was traded. I'm glad he is back and I hope that he can contribute. I'm not happy that the trade was voided the way it was. It allows the media to continue on the narrative that Morey is not trustworthy. How can you say nothing we can do but get behind the Rockets, when for three straight days you have posted constant vitriol towards that same organization?
I am a Rockets fan, didn't like the trade, still don't think Le$ is a good owner, or that Morey is able to understand how to build a team that fits. Doesn't mean I don't cheer for them every single game since 1972..... Fan is short for fanatic....I am a Rockets fan. DD
I was in favor of the trade, and I think we will probably get crushed in the playoffs if we go that far. But, Its impossible not to be a DMo fan. He always has the right attitude and seems like a good guy.
D-Mo clearly will never be anything special if this is a chronic injury. People happy he is returning, should not be since the rescinded trade is proof he is damaged goods. I like getting Thornton back though. He's been inconsistently good for us. Hopefully he doesn't take it personally and still plays hard for us.
It is PROOF of nothing other than the Pistons wanted their pick back and were not willing to take the risk. DD
