What people meant by that is to get DMo back, because they didn't want him to be traded. They didn't really put in much thought into circumstances that would make trade void. They had good intentions, don't read into it too much.
Or (drum roll) his back may really be seriously screwed up and he'll never be the same player he once was nor will he ever reach his full potential and will have reoccurring problems the duration of his career however long or shortened that may be. I mean, surely SVG couldn't use a talented 7 footer with a back to the basket game and a sweet looking 3 pointer that can spread the floor.
