If you think we, Motiejunas only fans, feel terrible to return here, think how DMo feels to return to a team that doesn't want him... with news that his career might be over... On the other hand, I had 3-4 days to sniff around Pistons fan forums and only positive in this situation is that bbs.clutchfans.net is THE biggest fan forum on the internet. This thread alone has more action in an hour than the most active Pistons entire forum in one day...

Not awful news other than Morey's ass has been kicked. At least Thornton is returning to the bench... this season is a travesty with maybe a mediocre end.....
He is a restricted free agent so he is ours whether he wants to be or not. Realistically, Detroit probably saved us huge money for next season. What team is going to make a big offer to a player who had a trade rescinded due to a failed physical? If Detroit just had cold feet and he is not as bad as it sounds, we can match what comes in or he accepts our qualifying offer next season.

I fail to understand why so many people here were hoping D Mo would fail his physical and be returned to the Rockets if you're truly a fan of this team. We get back a guy with a well documented back issue that may prevent us from even retaining him at the end of the season in which case the Rockets get absolutely nothing for him instead of a potential late lottery pick. Smh...shame on you! I thought Jeremy Lin fanatic types had been purged from this board long ago.
