Kelly giving Zaire snaps was him being loyal to his player and being a good coach. Zaire had enough chances when it was still early, but Kelly stuck to Kizer when he clearly was out playing Zaire. There's no QB controversy going forward. He did play a drive too conservatively. I think it was 4th and short and Notre Dame had momentum when he should've gone for it.
As I mentioned before, I was at both the UH game on Saturday and the Texas game last night. I am exhausted but what an experience. Thank goodness nearly everyone has a cupcake next week.
Is it just me or cuz of spread offenses,more stoppage, injuries, time of an average football game is getting above 3.5 hrs range. There was a time when games were closer to 3 hours +/- few mins.
I noticed last night during the UT game. Even if it had not gone into OT, it was already a very long game.
