Very good analysis ...as much as I'm a foster homer I agree...swearinger just has me excited.. Refs made a piss poor call on a perfect sack hit on Rg3.... Love his intensity! Reed biggest surprise so far
Bring in some kind of Texans logo and get a free sandwich with the purchase of a drink and chips or something like that.
I bought Profootball focus for the season. Newton had a monstrous +5.7 day yesterday. Really was impressed by his improvement. Ben Jones posted a -2.3, Myers, a -1.8 and Brooks a -1.3. Hoping they bounce back next week.
And by the way, although Fiedorowicz didn't get a lot of attention, he posted a very nice +2.2 in the run blocking game yesterday.
That's the complete opposite of what anyone would expect coming into the first game, hopefully those guys bounce back. When it comes to Jones and Brooks, you can point to inexperience adn when it comes to Myers you can point to rust being a factor.
That place has leaked for the past couple of years I've worked there. We avoid spots around the field because rain leaks in. The roof does open and close in pieces, how do you completely seal it?
You're saying they built a shoddy roof? Or never completely fixed it from, was it Ike? Along with the shoddy field? Get it together NRG Reliant stadium!
You guys should really pipe down about the "shoddy" stadium, or Uncle Bob is going to decide you should buy him a new one.
I'm huge on the fact that we changed the offense in the second half. Once we got the lead we started throwing more, which is way better then run, run, short throw, and punt! "Hey, we killed 5 minutes off the clock!". What's the worst thing that could happen?
Teams of the Week according to PFF: Tackles: Branden Albert, MIA (+5.4) and Derek Newton, HOU (+5.2) Defensive Interior – Ends: Jurrell Casey, TEN (+7.0) and J.J. Watt, HOU (+6.9)
