Easy: Might Mouse was the PG. But I don't think there was a dealbreaker - other teams rushed in with better offers.

You got it backward, dude. The Rockets organization owes Maloney a lot of money. That's they are still paying him.

    Question:

What is Eddie Johnson's game winner in 1997 WCF's Game 4 affectionately called by longtime Rockets fans?

    LOLOL, whoops.
Okay, now who went with Otis Thorpe to the Blazers then?

There was a thing for this? "The Shot"?
I always fondly remember it as "Oh!! Mother!!!!!!"

Blazers got his rights, but he never came over.

    Here's a good one.
In the 1992-93 season, the Rockets ended with the last game on the road vs. San Antonio. If they won the game, they would have home court advantage in up until the Western Conference Finals, but if they lost, they would end up with the same record with Seattle and lose the tie-breaker for home-court because Seattle owned the Rockets back then when they played illegal defense all the time and it was rarely called. So in that final regular season game the Rockets were down 2 with only seconds left to play. Someone hits a huge 3 pointer to put the Rockets up 1. On the final defensive play for the Rockets, they play the shot beautifully as if veers wide left (iirc), but David Robinson is next to the basket and jumps up for the air-ball put-back dunk. The problem was, it was clearly clearly clearly way after the game clock was all zeros. But there was no instant replay back then.

The Rockets went on to beat the Clippers in the first round 3-2 (back then they were best of 5)and then play Seattle in a 7 game series for the right to advance to the WCF. Each team one every home game and Seattle advanced to play Phoenix. In game 7, the Rockets hosted a free fan viewing party at the Summit.

Question 1: Who was the player that made the 3pter that should have been the game winner and given the Rockets HCA vs. Seattle?

Question 2: What was the title of the official game 7 viewing party at the Summit?

Edit: my memory messed up. The 3pter put the Rockets up 2, and the Robinson dunk tied it, with the Rockets losing in OT.

    Whole Foods on Alabama/Kirby

    He's not coming back.

    Follow-up Question:

What kind of camera did rockHEAD use to prove he talked to Hakeem?
