I'm losing my mind. This offseason has driven me insane. Lance is the chosen one. He will right the ship! All in for Lance!
In have no apologies for Lance. I seriously think he's a difference maker. Whether it's this year or next year. We need toughness and Mad Max level craziness. Bev gives us some of that. Lance provides the rest. Lance walks into every game thinking he's the best player on the court. Even with lebron standing right next to him. He is so confident he's delusional. Seriously we need someone that won't fold under pressure. That is him.
I'm with you but it all depends on the length and amount of the contract. I'd love to sign him to a 1 year 12 million dollar contract if it was possible.
Rather bring Bev off bench: Howard Jones Ariza Harden Stephenson Bench: D-Mo Papanikolaou Gentile/Covington Daniels/Johnson Beverley Bev should still see minutes playing alongside both Harden & Stephenson, just like last season with Harden & Lin. And Jones & Big Papa may switch too depending on match ups.
Just do something! Talk with Stephenson, throw a poison pill max contract at Bledsoe! Improve the team! Please don't throw the year away Morey...
I doubt we have enough capspace for Lance. But I'd be all for it. A guy with a ton of talent, an emotional and aggressive leader that was one of the most important reasons of Indys success (maybe also for their failure last season). And he is clutch. He can play PG, SG and SF. And he can defend the likes of LeBron or Durant. We'd upgrade our defense and perhaps more importantly our playmaking. How much capspace do we have left? 10 million? 9?
The Rockets could start Lance at around 10 million a season if they wanted to. Lance turned down 44 million for 5 years from Indy. The best the Rockets can do is a 4 year contract with 4.5% annual raises. If the Rockets offered a contract starting at 10 million a season here is what it would look like. Code: Year Base Sal 1 $10,000,000 2 $10,450,000 3 $10,900,000 4 $11,350,000 Totals: $42,700,000 By the way, there is a real good salary calculator on the Larry Coon Faq for those that are interested. I used his calculated on those numbers.
is he willing to be the spark off the bench? we need someone like that who can relieve Harden with his scoring..

Classic Akeem  When he first came into the league he didn't take no Kurt Rambis jive turkey bs. He was in fights a lot. I could keep watching that all day.
