Knowing that McHale will stay next year, I think we need to court a big time lead assistant. Mike Woodson would not only replace, but be an upgrade over Kelvin Sampson on the defensive side of the ball. It is very likely that Woodson will not get a head coaching gig since there are a surplus of good coaches available right now. Les and Daryl, pay the man a large sum of money and lure him to H Town. He could be our X factor in coaching. I'm not sure of Carmelo's feelings towards Woodson, but if he does like him it would also sway Carmelo even further towards us!! This is out best solution.
