In the past names used to be about what their occupation was. For example, Derek Fisher's ancestors were likely fishermen. Anthony Mason's ancestors were probably masons. Brian Cook's ancestors probably were chefs. You could only imagine what Boozer's ancestors did.
Stats can be misleading.......the guy is washed up no doubt about it. With that said he could be a guy u give 15 min to a game.
You only have to be under the cap for the portion of the bid that the Bulls aren't responsible for. Your bid can be much higher than that and you can clear capspace other ways after winning the bid...like renouncing unguaranteed contracts. But to place any bid, you must first be under the cap. Why is this unfair? This gives the teams who are most financially responsible with capspace to have first dibs. This is perfectly the way it should be. If we want him so bad, we can get him, and outbid everyone. We just have to get under the cap first. And once you are under the cap, it means all your TPEs and exceptions to acquire FAs while being over the cap go away. It's a very good rule.

If that's who's interested, Houston should be his obvious choice. He'd probably get a starting spot here and play a vital part for a contender. Atlanta already has a better PF and is nowhere near contending, so is Charlotte. Miami is the only competition, if Bosh plays C. But Boozer's game is actually similar to Bosh's, noone likes to play too close to the basket - and HOU is clearly the better team (although in a better conference). If we can get him on the cheap I'd be all for it. He can shoot the midrange, he can rebound, he has experience and his defense in CHI was alright.
He doesn't have a choice. He goes to the highest bidder regardless of who he wants to play for because he was amnestied
There's a decent chance that he clears amnesty waivers Boozer's agent is Pelinka, Kobe and Harden's agent (Ariza's rep too), he doesn't really do "on the cheap"
Ha ha autocorrect keeps making mistakes - wish clutch would let me edit - I might even throw a dollar in tip jar if he did. Ha ha
Will boozer be the historic last amnesty? Doesn't a player have to be on contract and roster since like 2011? Probably not many eligible after this season.
might make it known that he doesn't want to be claimed, there also might be a team that has already lined up to claim him (like we had with phoenix), it's not exactly the most flawless process.
That's a lot of bling and I would lose all my financial flexibility for lunch. Right now I can go red lobster or Olive Garden. Without that ten bucks it would be dollar menu at mcdonalds or Taco Bell. I'm holding out for a better deal, don't want to lose flexibility and opportunity cost.
