exactly. 8 seconds, you can post up yao and get a good shot. rafer couldve drove to the basket and maybe draw a foul?
And how often do we see him drive to the hole? It's bizarre that he so rarely does it. Like he's afraid of the contact. I just don't get it.
The other thing about Rafer is that his made range jumper is even worse than his threes. Plus, he can't really drive to the basket like Parker, Paul, or Billups. That's why his 2pt field goal % is pretty much the same as his 3pt %. SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!
Man, i dont get it either. If he wouldve drove to the basket, he probably wouldve went to his floater anyways...we never see him take it all the way to the rack. if the shot wouldve been blocked i still wouldve been happy with that shot...
So the Rockets success in the playoffs depends on a 36.6% 3pt shooter? I don't like those odds MattJ, and neither should any Rocket fan. As for your facts, you might want to check em again. Rafer shoots better from 2pt range than 3pt range - That is a fact. DD
Yup... i think we're gonna live and die with Rafer Alston's three when he shoots 5-7 we blow teams out when he shotos 1-7 we win by 2 or lose by a good 10....
Usually, the closer to the basket, the higher %. But because Rafer can't shoot, so the further away from the basket, the further away from defenders, the better chance the ball will fall. My guess
Mike James is not a PG. There will be a good free agent PG by the name of Chauncy Billups this offseason who does it all. But thanks to Juan, Rafer, and even Tmac being overpaid, we have no chance acquiring him.
DD, you should rethink about the Snyder Vs. Bonzi a bit. In the recent games, Snyder showed almost nothing (I do admit he tried very hard though). Tonight's game is perfect example where Bonzi should be a better option. Too bad he just couldn't get along with JVG. Then again, a Bonzi in doghouse offers more than Snyder right now...
