Only 5 other players have at at least 37 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals in a game since 1985. Three of these players are Bird, Jordan, and DWade...not bad! http://www.basketball-reference.com...l=4&c4stat=trb&c4comp=gt&c4val=6&order_by=pts
MAKE. THIS. A. SHIRT. WOULD. WEAR. I knew this was the player we were getting. Damn he looked good out there tonight. Wooot Woot.
The best thing about it was that it all came so easy. He wasn't playing all out to get those stats. It just came to him. That's what i'm most excited about. Signs that it will be a regular thing instead of a 1 in every 2 weeks type of thing.
ohhh noooo but we lost a stupid raptor pick and a guy who has never played a NBA game for James Harden.... ohhhh and KEvin martin a guy who we were trying to dump... ohhh nooooo
Just pure awesome. I'm now on board and THANK YOU OKC!!! Props to Morey for getting us a pure All Star for years and years to come! Now who is next?
Yes it was the first game, yes it was the Pistons(rebuilding, but still a solid young team), but watching the way Harden was operating out there, his body language, Bball IQ and interactions with the team it's pretty evident that he is ready to take his game to a bonafide elite level. He can score from anywhere, make great passes, and his defense wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. AND HE IS ONLY 23!!!!!
If you had looked at the serious analysts you would have known this would happen. Most of them agreed that OKC should have traded Westbrook and kept Harden. I expect Harden will be slowed down once NBA teams start scheming for Lin/Harden. But we may have the best SG in the NBA on the roster. Thank god we locked him in for 5 more years! Harden last year played like Brandon Roy. At 23 years of age. If he stays healthy you are looking at the next Dwayne Wade. The sky is the limit!
Missed the game taking my kids out for Halloween, but came back and saw this... J. Harden 37 Pts, 6 Reb, 12 Ast, 4 Stl, 1 Blk WOW, I bet after 1 game OKC is having major regrets!
