I'm sure the first words out of your mouth is we have no cap space this offseason. Duh! I know that too. But according to the LA Times, Duncan AND Hill are thinking about signing one year deals. Why? Becuase of money. I believe they can get a 80 mil deal now, or 100 mil if they wait an extra year. I'm not saying we will sign Duncan, but becuase if they sign an one year deal, and with Dream's retiring(we get use all of his 14 mil), we can sign and trade for duncan. I know this has hardly any shot of happening, but the at least we have the possibility.
I'm sorry... but I don't think we would get all of that $14 million... does anyone know enough of this? For some reason, I think we would get like half that space.
Becuase of the new CBA rules, Dream has been with us his whole career so we get to use all his money. Doesn't just apply to anyone who retires. The half I think you're talking is about is he gets half of his salary if he retires, but it still counts full against the cap.
