forget about the playoffs lest just enjoy the regular season....regular season is every day of my life.. playoffs only come once in a while so we should naturally value regular season over once in a blue moon event
That's my problem with relying on foul shots. You only get those if the refs give them to you. We all know there's a few refs that seem to have it out for the Rockets and they swallow their whistles at critical points in the game, in the playoffs, vs GS. I really wish there was a way to reduce their influence on the game. It's the biggest hole in the sport.
Problem is he's a one-man team by himself. Needs the ball to set himself up. Can you really win it all with that kind of strategy? He'll have to score 50 in playoff games. Plus, he's exhausted when the playoffs roll around.
It’s possible but highly unlikely. Especially in this era with super teams. People still claim Harden choked game 7 against the Warriors but don’t look at the rosters.
If Harden had Kobe's or MJ's mentality(ie I'm the best option), he could easily average 40 for a season. Harden is impossible to guard when he plays aggressively.
Harden is really amazing and under appreciated. If you rank players drafted from 2000 to present, he can be in tier 2 with KD, Wade and Curry. Of course Lebron will be Tier 1.

MJ averaged almost 38 while taking 28 shots a game during his 3rd season. Harden averages 32 while only taking 21 shots a game. You don't think Harden could average 8 more points if he tool 7 more shots a game?
i would go farther that harden is above curry and kd.. because they won't and can't fill harden's shoes as a rocket
