i still can't say who wins this. UTA is young but better coached and they play hard. OKC has the name players but they've played with bad habits as a team all year and that's not going to just change on a dime this weekend. i would guess in the end it's going to come down to guys like favors being able to bring big games in the paint with rebounds on the UTA side vs OKC's scrubs brewer/abrines/fattyfelton being able to make their open 3's
Utah has the most talent, Utah Bench Points, Consistent Ricky Rubio 3 pointers are so key in the series for Utah.
OKC should be the favs to advance but Utah got all the tools to upset them. Would not be an upset actually. 55-45. Technically it's all about Home Court with the 4th and 5th seed, those should be really close games barring injuries to their top dogs. Houston has been the 4th or 5th for couple of years in the past, I know.
The Portland game hurt the Jazz hard. They had a chance against OKC with home court, not sure about it now. I still think this is the most interesting matchup in the West.
I think the Jazz should win but I doubt the NBA allow that to happen The Jazz will be playing 8-5 IMO This is the key moment of the Russ Era They go out in the first round . . . OKC will become irrelevent in all meaningful convos for at least 3 years The league LOVES Russ . . .. and losing here and then losing PG13 will make him into Kemba Walker The only out of that would be to demand a trade . . . . . in two years Rocket River
actually the jazz is very potent offensively lately. the numbers are skewed because of the first half of the season shenanigans. for example mitchell playing only a few minutes scoring just 2 point on multiple occasions. and rudy gobert missing lots of games
Pretty much everyone loves Westbrook except for media mongering Houston Rocket fans. The dude was averaging 25-10-12 on 46% shooting after the all-star break, with a 15-8 record. That guy will become Kemba Walker? Come on now dudes... What did Russ ever do to us?
Actually home court advantage might be some pressure on the rookie Donovan Mitchell and the rest of the teammates that lack experience and are young. as playing the first 2 games in Utah, they are expected to win. so they have pressure on them for winning. so if they would have lost 1 of those 2, they might not recover. with playing first 2 games on the road, it isn't a big deal if you lose both, and it gives you a change to get used to the wild playoff atmosphere and crowd. seeing as the 4th and 5th seed are not far apart in record for whatever reason, upsets tend to happen because of that reason
Former cupcakes you mean. Oladipo and James Harden love him. Enes Kanter and Serge Ibaka love him. Do we really think RW is the b**** in this situation?
Can't tell who will win this one. But if its base on my dream (always having this weird basketball dream when playoff is around the corner) low scoring game with OKC winning. But just the FIRST game not the series. 81-71. Not the final score just the number i saw in my dream. Waiting for a rocket dream. Hope it's favorable. Hehe.
