Quin Snyder has always sounded like he goes into the bathroom and downs a mugful of Valium before any TV appearance.


He also has that immaculately coiffed look with no hair out of place and that glassy stare.

If he didn't seem so sedated, I half expect him to start delivering a lecture about Huey Lewis while trying to chainsaw a reporter at his press conference.

 

Yes but I think we all interpreted it the wrong way.

 

Don't get me wrong - I think Westbrook is an inefficient chucker, as much as the next person.

But PG went 2-16. Let's not act like George didn't get his normal amount of shots in. Melo going 3-7 is concerning, since he should have been on the floor, late in the game, rather than some of the other players on the roster, but that's on Donovan.

Westbrook deserves the brunt of the blame, but for this game, less so.

 

Westbrook certainly tried to win this series in several ways, cannot really fault him for trying - since he shot and passed the ball to open guys - though some of those trees were questionable. PG13 underperformed and I'm not so sure he'd work as a 3rd option here, but I'd be willing to try. He tries on defense and can get 'star' numbers.

 

Deserved or not, Russ will take the fall.

 

Melo not being in the game was why they even had a chance. He was downright awful at everything in this series.

 

OKC were robbed by the refs on the PG13 shot. The hate against Harden is not only unwarranted, but immense as well.
PG played terribly despite the unfair call. I wanted him to join the Rockets in the offseason, but after such a poor show in an elimination game, I'm hesitant to have him in Houston.

i saw it in a sportsbar without a sound. i thought it was definitely a foul! but watching the game 2nd time at home, different stream with sound. seeing that exact play from the behind the basket angle i changed my mind. george jumped to the side. not a natural shooting motion

 

he will join utah! just like how durant bolted westbrook for the team that beat them
