    43 shots... Forty... Three... Shots.

Seriously, how does anybody want to play with Westbrook? Everyone's argument for him last year was that he had no help. Well he had help this year and all he did was make those guys worse.

Lost in all of this is OKC lost with no Rick Rubio. UTAH had no offense for 2 straight qtrs and they didn't take advantage.

After washing off the stench that I had accumulated on myself after rooting for the Jazz, of all teams, I can quite happily start thinking about the next series!

I think the Rockets match up pretty well against the Jazz--Gobert is scary when your shooting isn't good, because without drive-and-kicks, he really is a monster in the middle. I don't think I've ever seen Westbrook get denied so much. However, the Rockets have at least 2 (and maybe LMAM, if he returns) players that have a better BBALLIQ than Russ at the rim, and with the plethora of shooters the Rockets have, it'll be scary for the Jazz.

Mitchell is a young firebrand of a player, but the Rockets have defenders upon defenders to throw at him, and it won't be as easy for him to hit those circus shots against this team.

Ingles is a threat, but the switch everything defense of the Rockets does a good job of mitigating corner threes, and he doesn't quite have the athleticism to break down the defense on his own.

Overall, the Jazz are waaaaay less annoying than they were a decade ago, but I think this Jazz team is actually nowhere near as good as that Kirilenko-Williams-Boozer-Okur core. I believe in the Rockets! Dunno how many games it'll take them, but I know they can kick some Jazz ass!

Also there's no jazz in Utah, they stole that from Nawlins and they should change their name to the Utah Bobcats, or something

It was a blessing in disguise in the last game when they came back from a 25 point deficit because Westbrook was the hero so he felt like he had to play hero ball again tonight but this time it backfired.

Westbrook is nothing more than a modern day Latrell Sprewell given a green light in an offensively trigger happy/high usg league. The quality of the NBA today is just not very good. Oh well. Wake me up when the Warriors come to town.

I thought maybe Royce Young just got swept up in the end of the game or that it was a little late, but ... NO... he was LEGITIMATELY tearing up and unable to control his emotions when they said "nobody plays harder and nobody takes more criticism" than Westbrook.

I don’t think so - last year it would have been called but this was one of those moves that the refs don’t give shooters anymore because of Harden last year and yes, Harden has not had the benefit of very many of those plays this year just like PG on that one.
