According to sina, China is #4. The major tie breaker is to calculate the ratio of points scored and points given-up in the games among the three teams.

    China: (87+78)/(90+77)=0.98802

    Slovenia: 90+77)/(82+78)=1.04375

    PR: (90+82)/(87+90)=0.97175

Thus, Slovenia is #3, and PR is #5.

Hei everyone come look at this picture of Yao.

And then tell me, how much do you think Yao cares about Rockets, about winning the NBA championships? Yao in CNT is a totally different person (animal) than Yao in NBA. Yes Yao wants to win the NBA ring, but to him the ring is next to nothing compared to CNT.

You will never see such a picture of Yao in NBA.

I disagree with you zhao. While I believe Yao would be more gratified to win a World Championship for his home country (mainly because it'd be a near impossible feat), he'll get just as emotional when we're in the playoffs. Remember this was an elimination game for China, if they lost they were going home. Obviously Yao's going to be extremely determined to win.

Watching team china giving up reb after reb, I hope Rockets would shore up rebounding at the 4.

We are playing better, and we are still in. maybe because we have Yao, but in this last game, the team defence was pretty good. whatever, we won.

BTW, you are not from USA, are you? one sentence with a couple of grammar mistakes. who you think you are? talking about a team like this, without respect. I'm not saying we are as good as USA, but we are also not that bad. watch you mouth.

He has officially said that his 2 dreams/goals are 2008 Beijing and a NBA tittle.

Besides, CNT/WC(Olympic) and Rockets/NBA are different, for CNT, the fate will desided by only less then 8-10 games in 1-2 weeks and if you lose you have to wait another 4 years. So in that situation players will get more emotional. In NBA, you have 82 games in 6 months, one win or lose doesn't mean much and there is always next game and next year.

I'm sure you will see the same pic in game 7 for the NBA title (or WCF) if Rockets can make it.

Well, I can't say that you are a model of politness and respect. Plus this question isn't degrading the Chinese team. They are just that bad. The only reason China is in it is because of Yao, and some support from his team mates.

As for T-Mac leading the China team to the second round, definitly needs to be the T-Mac of the Orlando Magic, driving to the lane, hopefully dunking the ball so hard that it bounces off the refs head. Shaq (in his prime) is a candidate for briniging the chinese team to the second round.

WTF are you talkin about? I guarantee that Yao would rather win a ring than a WBC championship. He screamed in Ratlif's face like in his rookie yr. He has been showing plenty of emotions (i.e. after a 3 pt play). Ill admit he probably has more homies on CNT but thats where it stops. Your an idiot if you think "the ring is next to nothing". Bottom line....your bein a homer
