Bunch of teams in the West got better. Even Memphis who beat us twice last year maybe healthy.

CP3 is one year older and injury prone. And our backup is MCW who is probably the worst shooter in the NBA.

Capela is unhappy and we have no backup center.

Our SF right now is some guy we just signed for the minimum who looked out of shape last year in Detroit.

We might get Melo who blows up team chemistry.

Lot of factors. I didn’t say we would miss be playoffs, I’m just saying I can see a scenario where it does happen.

 

See post above. But you nailed it right there CP3 injury which he is known to have every year and he’s only getting older.

And we have a bunch of unknowns at SF.

I also like the moves other teams made this offseason.

New Orleans is gonna be significantly better.
Denver is gonna be better. I love MPJ.(Don’t see us sweeping them)
Dallas is going to be significantly better. (Not playoffs but I can’t see us sweeping them again this year)
Phoenix is loads better ( not sure we will sweep them either)
Utah is better(Can’t see us sweeping them either).
Lakers are better
Spurs will be better if Kawhi plays.
Memphis when healthy gave us problems last year.
Clippers are better.
Warriors are better.

Pretty much every team in the West got better except for us, Blazers, and Kings..

We had the perfect season last year. Gonna be hard to repeat.

 

Memphis who is coached by Blow Job Bickerstaff? I take my chances with CP3 and Harden.
