You can make up for good arm strength with timing. See Peyton Manning while with Broncos.

Throw the ball .1 quicker and it will make up for the lack of velocity on the football.

One thing I do like about Watson is that he did throw guys open at Clemson. Does it translate to the NFL.....hope so.

Ppl begin overanalyzing a player and begin finding fault. If you find fault in this guy you don't like or know greatness.

What's his winning strength like? Its all about winning and championships and he does it better than anyone in a long time coming out. Since VY or the dreaded Tebow.

Let's hope BOB finally changes his offensive plan, with more than run, run, pass 10 yards. If not, then it won't matter anyway. I'm sooooooooo ready for something more exciting to watch.

Just looking at video of highlights, NFL combine, and pro day. It doesn't look like arm strength will be an issue.

I'm excited, and I have a reason to look forward to preseason games.

Watson is a passer first. VY and Tebow were runners who threw passes.

That is a pretty high ceiling. Moon threw a beautiful spiral usually on the money.

Yeah, but it's also probably not true. Moon is a HOFer, it's pretty nuts to suggest that Watson could be that given how much he has to learn how to do in order to even be an NFL caliber player.

If you have questions about his arm strength and accuracy they you haven't watched Clemson's final drive in the championship game.

Arm strength isn't the end all be all but most greats have it

However obviously guys like Brady and Montana didn't

My whole thing about arm strength is lacking it limits you on the out patterns

Moon had one of the strongest arms ever. He through arguably the best deep ball ever and one reason is his deep ball didn't require a lot of air underneath it

    It was beautiful

I think the implication is that his arm strength ceiling is Moon's arm, not overall career.

    Terrible post is terrible.

Ever read through the weaknesses on scouting reports of current HOF caliber NFLers? No one comes in without a ton to learn.

true...very few players hit their ceiling but in my opinion the talent is there he obviously has to put in the work on that spiral along with everything else obviously
