Watch out for the refs tomorrow trying to extend the series

At least Tony Brothers is far far away, assigned to wreak havoc in the game in Washington...

That was shameful. Not only was that not a flagrant, it came only minutes after the refs reviewed Amar'e's stranglehold on Dwight and called that an ordinary foul. It was obvious they were throwing Dallas a bone and trying to give them a chance to get back into the game.

 

Will be another tough game but the Rockets just have to play through all the BS that will be called in the game.

 

If we win or lose it will be because of us not the refs

 

Donaghy is a convicted felon with plenty of reasons to lie, so he hardly constitutes proof.

 

Hacka Howard/Smith/Capella/Dorsey and we will always average more FTs a game. Doesn't mean refs aren't jobbing us.

 

Even if the refs were against us, there is no way this Mavs team should keep up with us. No excuses

 

The refs can't do anything to rig jump shots made. The Mavs gameplan is going to be to allow the Rockets to shoot, and clog the paint to stop pick and rolls to the bucket. You can take that to the bank.

The Rockets so far really haven't shot as well as they could have. They have however gotten to the rim, and the foul line quite a bit. Carlisle is going to force the Rockets to make jump shots this game I can pretty much guarantee. Gotta hit shots, and defend without fouling. You let Monta Ellis start getting to the line, and finishing around the bucket, it could be a long night. I guarantee you Monta and Dirk will be playing their A game, and be in attack mode. Gotta be ready for that.

If the Rockets keep this game close enough to allow the refs to be a factor than that's their own fault. They should blow them away. They know what the Mavs are going to do on offense, and on the other end, they just have to play their game, and make shots.

 

Don't bet on it... or do, whatever...

 

It hasn't been too bad yet. The Howard flagrant call was the most questionable. But there was a makeup call shortly after.

I don't expect the NBA to try to be fair. If they aimed for objectivity, Dirk, T.Chandler, and Rondo would have been fined already for flopping.

The refs will probably give the Mavs a couple extra calls their way tonight. Our team is good enough to overcome it though.

 

Our guys have got to just power through it. They did that last game in spite of bad calls and an outlier Mavs FT%. One of the best things about last game was the Rudy T-esque RUN IT AGAIN mentality that broke open the fourth for us. That's what we need to do. Quickly find the dagger for this game and then keep stabbing until they knock it out of our hands. Then pull out another dagger, and stab stab stab some more. Don't let any outside factors determine the outcome.

 

I fully expect them to foul Howard or Smith to earn it at the line and not allow any more dunks. They better be mentally prepared to make them. All our bigs for that matter.

 

He has a point. They're home, and the refs will be favoring them more than likely just to extend.

 

Why is it thinking the refs having a agenda is bull*****?


You do know there was a specific ref who went to jail and stated there were other refs who influence outcomes of playoff series. You do know the refs made numerous bogus calls last year's playoff & 2005 when they screwed us against Dallas. There is HISTORY of ridiculously called games against us. So don't act like a conspiracy is completely outta the question

 

but we have Harden the flopper you guyse
