    Tens of millions of people hated him for his funny name and his black skin but Obama kept trying to be the good American, talking about American ideals and character. It's a shame Obama never realized he wasn't really an American. He probably would have to dropped some whoop ass more often if he were a more combative guy.

    Unfortunately the backlash to Obama is an ignorant, p***y grabbing, classless buffoon. Nicely done America.

    LOL, based on what? He's not the worst president the US has ever had, but there's not a lot that have been worse. His foreign policy was a disaster and he managed to divide the nation and push those sides about as far apart as any president has in modern history.

    Seriously though, I want a real answer as to what he's done that makes people think he was a good president because it sounds pretty ridiculous.

    What's funny is that the question "Why do you think Obama was a good president?" honestly has the same answer to the question "Why did Obama win a Nobel Prize?"

    as a minority, i definitely looked up to him...always calm, cool, collected...so many haters and he doesn't even flinch

    Wow, the National review criticizing Obama. Who'd a thunk. But it would be interesting to see what those same stats about how "Black Americans" fared under the previous administration... oh wait, that period of time probably wasn't important to the National Review. I am sure all that goodnesss just tricked on down...

    Can you honestly think something with the term 'Grand Old' would be something good for people of color in America? 'Grand' Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. The Good 'Old' Boys... White Supremacy connotations suck.

    I'll leave it to you to find those stats.

    Meanwhile, no matter what the stats say, I imagine Bush's record on food stamps (or anyone else's for that matter) won't match the following.
    That's somewhere between 1/4th and 1/3rd the entire AA population of the United States now on food stamps.

    Stated another way, approximately 1 in 10 african americans became food stamp recipients under Obama's administration.

    Think about that for a moment.

    He spent a lot of time name-checking democracy. I very much appreciate him emphasizing the principles that underly our nation, i.e. things we need to monitor while Trump is in office.
