Ninjas are really doing some mental gymnastics to not vote for Harden.

More than one person voted Kyrie as MVP. Westbrook with more votes than Butler.

I was actually fearing the opposite...to be snubbed twice and the second time for the opposite reasons you supposedly lost the first time? I thought it was possible he would never sniff the award again. I mean I think a lot of us thought "how could he possibly get better?" Kudos to James for having the "I won't be denied" attitude. I think this bodes well for us winning a ship one day while Harden is a rocket.

If Harden doesn't get a unanimous MVP this year the league's system needs to change.

In many ways it's accurate to state that a non-unanimous vote for Harden this year is an even bigger travesty and a deeper, more profound insult than last year's "Trip-Dub-VP" shamocracy of a process

nope unanimous is when your team wins 73 games, you average better then 30 points at a true shooting of 68%.. As much as I hate the warriors what curry did that year was something right out of a video game.. So if that's the standard for unanimous MVP then Harden will not and should not be one.. but he will come close and definitely win it this year

Russell is almost averaging a triple again so shouldn't he be looked at as MVP again? That's what they were saying last year. Guess the story doesn't fit this year so it's Lebron being old and still winning. The person who voted 3rd for Harden does not watch basketball. Suprised by Curry being 2nd. Thought Durant or Lebron would be 2nd.

These media sports writer-wannabe only vote with their you-know-what. At least the majority have common sense to realize the obvious the year. Let's just hope that they don't change the narratives after the All-Star break. You know they can find the smallest and obscure reason to change the narratives -- something like Harden is taking time off on plays; he is resting too much; Curry has been to the NBA final too many times and he must be tired; or Kyrie took the mediocre Celtic's team to almost win the Eastern conference. If Curry won unanimously few years back, there is no reason Harden should not be unanimous this year with his performance. The bottom line is the media just doesn't respect the Houston Rockets ball club. We are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NBA.

"While it should be noted that the 100 media members who were surveyed for this poll are not the same panel of 100 that will officially determine the award"

I can't believe Steph Curry was unanimous that one year.

Give us Kevin Durant, and let's see what the BEST BACKCOURT in the NBA can do against us.

Yep because the actual voters will vote more than 9 times for someone else as the mvp.

How did Greak Freak get a first place vote? I will never understand why the Media gets to vote for MVP.

Also this guys article was published today says we have the second best record, well we actually have the best record! MEDIA CONSPIRACY!!
