Sorry if this is a bad place to ask a question, but remember when Jimmy Butler posted this to his Instagram after Lillard was traded to the Bucks? "Yo NBA, man," Butler said. "Y'all need to look into the Bucks for tampering. Y'all do. I'm just going to put that out there. Y'all didn't hear it me but I heard through somebody." Was this actually tampering, or could the Blazers have granted permission to the Bucks to make Lillard a pitch? I'm just trying to understand the rule. https://www.si.com/nba/heat/miami-n...ucks-of-tampering-after-damian-lillard-report
It has been a while back now but Lillard modified his wishes and the Bucks were his 2nd or 3rd destination after Miami..... Was there tampering, league got to look into that but fact was Miami's package was not really doing it for months.....you cannot blame that on tampering, can you......
Here is the thing TAMPERING means the TEAM did it but ANY PLAYER can contact any player as long as they not on the teams OFFICIAL behalf Rocket River
