Don't know if this has already been discussed or posted but these are some bad calls by the refs during the game against Seattle and San Francisco in the NFC championship. Are the refs messing up and or missing calls purposely or is it just incompetence...? Sorry can't post the video but the site is below. http://m.worldstarhiphop.com/apple/video.php?v=wshhs03U5ys3du70T9YW
Honestly, with the way Seattle pretty much knew what Denver was doing before they were doing it... and with the missed snap at the beginning of the game... and the total ST failure at the start of the second half... the SB seemed more rigged than anything else. Also, pretty sure you could break down any close game and find a bunch of calls that seem skewed towards the other team. The only real major miss in the NFC championship game was the missed fumble recovery by Bowman.... and its not like the refs knew at that very moment that the call they messed up would not be able to be fixed by a review due to some dumb NFL rules on which plays can and cannot be reviewed (and in the end, seattle got zero points on that possession).
I'd say the super bowl if anything. Vegas reported that over 70% of bets were placed on Denver, this means the Casino won big when Seattle stomped them. Also, the first play of the game being a safety cashed in.
So, who got paid off to ensure that Seattle won the Super Bowl by such a large margin so that the casinos would win big?
I'm not saying they did and I don't think they did, but if you want to go there, this would be my best guess: The lower paid players on the Broncos. Some guys on the offensive line, the center for example with the bad snap, and some of the defenders and special teams guys (who we know don't get paid much). There were some real tackling issues for Denver and we saw what happened on that Percy Harvin Kick Return.
Against the spread, or straight up? If the former, then the line would have been moving - and yet, over the course of 2 weeks, it never really changed.
I saw some of the same issues all year long with the Texans this past season. Seattle straight up put a beat down on Denver. If anything last year's super bowl was rigged to keep the game interesting because Baltimore probably would have put up fidy on San Francisco if the lights hadn't gone off.
Not the NFC Championship, but... Seattle got WAY smarter than all teams and they were able to figure out Schaub's game plan and almost every other QB's game plan. Richard Sherman says they cracked Manning's Hand Signal Codes during Super Bowl. Belichik's school of spying?
Sounds like Seattle just prepared immensely and knew what they'd see on Sunday, and Denver wasn't creative enough to get past it. 'Hawks took away the deep ball and knew their tendencies in the short field...not to mention the secondary and linebackers are FAST. Did they rig the pick 6? and the kick return? and the fumble by D.Thomas? Those were the three factors that turned it into a blowout.
Because Seattle, a team know for being prepared and making adjustments defensively lopsidedly walloped a one-dimensional team (Americas favorite darling) the conspiracy theories are coming full force. Ridiculous. Denver, San Fran...you lost. Get over it.
