Would I ever love to see him get enough time to get a rhythm. I believe he could/should/would do well on an NBA court. Next question: was TWill showcased or is Bud traded or ... ?
He looked like he needs minutes to develop, but he is certainly flawed in some ways. I hope we keep playing him.
either he was gettign shopped or we are preparing to move someone to let him play. This reminds me of the whole Billy Beane vs Art Howe in playing that 1st Baseman so they traded the young stud to get him PT
Not sure why twill doesnt get more pt, honestly i think he is soundly better than bud. Give him pt and watch.
T Will was 1-8 when starter except Martin was shooting well. He needs time but tonight cost us the game. T-WIll and Martin 7-29, rest of team 30-57. There's you're game.
Honestly, this reminded me of Joey Dorsey. He played a couple games, and then he was shipped to the Kings. To me he looked good, but not great. Made some great decisions with the ball in his hand; made some questionable ones.
If Bud isn't injured I think he'll be traded, otherwise can't explain why he didn't get time tonight.
Seriously this organization is funny, the decide to play a guy after having decided not to extend him, thus making him an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year. Only in Houston......it is just hilarious in a "What the ****" kind of way. DD
I thought you could really see him flash some of his potential, but I wish that he would have drained his shots and produced though. I'd like to see his potential turn into production. Need minutes for that though. I liked seeing him out there.
I know there's more to it than just the +/-, but I'll just throw it out there. Our bench basically lost this game for us, and T-Will lead the way. T-Will -10 PPat -7 C Lee -2 G Smith -2 L Scola -2 I wasn't able to watch the game, so I didn't see him on defense, but looking at his shooting numbers, it was unimpressive. He also only had 2 assists, but I guess I can't complain too much since he only played 14 minutes. I would like to see what he can do, but not at the expense of losing a game. The bad thing is, we can't see the future, so you pretty much have to just throw him out there and hope for the best. We know what Chase can do, and obviously Mchale isn't impressed. Or there is a trade in the works. Maybe once T-Will has played a few games he'll settle down and put up better numbers. Pugs
He's got great athleticism that I'd love to see more of in games, but sometimes he acts like a chicken with its head cut off.
