when did the bulls go 73-9? Don't answer that. I know you meant 72-10 but still a big difference. Single digit losses would be damn impressive.
Mark Jackson was coached by JVG, Larry Bird, Larry Brown, Jerry Sloan, and others.....Guys that stressed the importance of practice. Didn't rub off on him at all.
While good coaches, I wouldn't put them in the same category as Lute, Pop and Jackson. However, I do agree that there is truth to the idea that retention plays a role as well. Look at what Kidd is doing with the young Bucks team.
I really dislike Stephen A Smith and Bayless, so I really enjoyed this video: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/C0naMGaM71k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> lol
I personally wanted SVG for the warriors and was pretty agnostic on the Kerr. And while not a fan of MJackson, I thought Lacob, Meyers etc handled the firing extremely poorly. Glad Kerr proved my doubts wrong. Pretty funny looking back at the opinions in this thread about the Warriors ability as a team & about the addition of Kerr. Especially in contrast to how many would later argue how STACKED the warriors were. Just from the first couple pages before the season started... And on Dec 15 2014 After Warriors charge out with a 21-2 record...
Also to be fair, I didn't think the warriors were going to win 60+ games, let alone win 67 games & win the championship.
Warriors came out of nowhere. Did anyone see their potential? I think the earlier comments were fair at that time.
Damn, how wrong were everyone on the Warriors? I still don't understand how essentially the same team went from nobodies to champions lol. Is it really due to Jackson being so horrible and Kerr being so smart?
I always wanted Kerr to replace McHale last off season He is on a completely different tier to McHale and we would possibly be talking about a Rockets championship
they were essentially the only healthy team in the entire league throughout the playoffs. health won them the championship.
Not real sure why everyone is ragging on early season proclamations that the Warriors would have been bad. It's easy, now, to say that Kerr is a good coach, but you really can't fault people for bashing the Kerr hire before the season started, last year.
Holy *** Kerr is just as overrated as the Warriors fluke year, they remained healthy while the rest of the west went in limping into the playoffs lmao
